Adam Maurer


Adam Maurer, born and raised in the green mountains of Vermont, completed his BFA in Film and Television at the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2009. During his time there, he shot and directed a feature documentary, Into Abyssinia, which follows a young adopted girl returning to her homeland in Ethiopia to reconnect with the family that saved her life. He has since worked with AOL and The Philanthropy Project, directing and editing a ten-part webisode series, My House To The White House that sheds light on homeless youth in the United States. A Place In The World is his second feature film.


William Silva Reddington


William Silva Reddington, a native of Ithaca NY, worked three years at Radical Media in New York City before attending film school at The Savannah College of Art and Design. A dual citizen of the US and Peru, Bill got his first taste for documentary directing when he traveled to Peru to shoot a short documentary in an earthquake disaster zone entitled After 8.0 that focused on the resiliency of people and their will to rebuild after loosing everything. He then co-produced a feature length documentary Into Abyssinia with Adam Maurer. He went on to direct a ten-part web series for AOL and The Philanthropy Project, My House To The White House, that followed a young boy raising awareness for homeless youth in the US. Bill graduated from SCAD and went on to make A Place In The World - his first feature film as a director.


Marius Crowne


After graduatuating with his BFA in Film and Television from the Savannah College of Art and Design, Marius began working in copywriting and concept development for print and television advertising in New York City for clients such as Carolina Herrera, Gant Rugger, and 7 for All Mankind Jeans. He regularly produces video content for BLK DNM, the latest project from Johan Lindeberg, and the Swedish fashion brand, ACNE. In 2010 and again in 2011, Marius traveled to Paris where he worked with acclaimed English photographer and filmmaker Katerina Jebb on LUCID TV, a video installation featuring Tilda Swinton (I Am Love, Michael Clayton), Kristin Scott Thomas (The English Patient, Gosford Park), Marissa Berrinson (I Am Love, Barry Lyndon, Cabaret), and Kylie Minogue. This is Marius' third collaboration with Bill and Adam after co-producing Into Abyssina and producing My House To The White House.


Jonathan Olmstead


Jonathan Olmstead also hails from Vermont, and in 2010 completed his BFA in composition at California Institute of the Arts just outside of Los Angeles. During college he worked on many student films including The Seawall, which premiered in 2011 at the Cannes film festival. During college he also began working for film composer Nathan Barr, which brought him onto many projects including HBO's True Blood, Lionsgate's The Last Exorcism, and more recently Columbia Pictures' 30 Minutes or Less. While working for Nathan, Jon simultaneously pursued freelance composing, work that included scoring Wonderland, a film about The Arab Spring which won the grand jury prize at the Zero Film Festival in New York. Since then he has joined the team at Wojahn Brothers Music as a full-time composer and mixer of music for commercials. A Place In The World is Jon's first collaboration with Adam, Bill, and Marius.
